Dave Moss: Suspension Workshop

Workshop dates are loading...

We all buy bikes and go for a ride right away. The more conscientious of us look the bike over and ask for service records. The more diligent change all the fluids, check tire pressures and brake pads, clean lube and adjust the chain and then ride. Very few if any, measure sag and see where the hydraulic settings are so we know what to expect out of the chassis and suspension when we ride.

  • Do you think bikes are made for one weight of rider?
  • Do you believe bikes all have the same strength springs in the forks and shock?
  • Are bikes set up for 1 or 2 riders from the factory?
  • Is fork and shock oil ever lasting?
  • Are the factory settings perfect?

These and many more questions will be answered in words and via group participation and demonstration.

This workshop is for riders with less than 4 years riding experience and limited skills with tools or established riders that have very little knowledge of suspension.
