Workshop: Introduction to Motorcycle Maintenance

This workshop is an excellent first step in familiarizing yourself with Moto Guild and learning to work on your motorcycle. Following an introduction and tour of Moto Guild, an instructor will lead three students through performing the following basic service on their own motorcycles:
  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Inspect brake pads and fluid
  • Clean, lube, and adjust chain
  • Check all fluids
  • Inspect tires, set air pressure
  • Check and adjust throttle and clutch free-play
  • Check lights and overall safety inspection

If you do not need these services on your motorcycle but still want to participate, sign up for the "observe" option, where you will still be part of the class without working on a motorcycle.

This Workshop is currently only open to all makes of motorcycles except Harley Davidson. If you have a HD, schedule a 1-on-1 appointment with our HD mechanic.

You will learn: Oil / Filter change, Fluids check (coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid), Chain; adjust, clean & lube, Adjust clutch, throttle free-play.

Oil and oil filter are available at the shop for an additional cost, depending on the motorcycle (approx $40 to $60), or you can bring your own.
